Guest Reviews…

“I recently was invited to spend the weekend at the Rosebriar Mansion in Astoria for our class reunion. It was a highlight of my weekend. I felt as though I was transported to another time and era. The accommodations were amazing and our hostess Trudy was so gracious. Whether coming from out of town or living locally I would recommend the Rosebriar for your special event. You will truly have a magical experience!”

- Diane, September 2022

“The Rosebriar Mansion was a perfect setup and location for our extended family gathering. The beds were comfortable and there were more than enough rooms for everyone. The living/dining area was a perfect for hanging out in the mornings and evenings, and the house is in a lovely neighborhood of beautiful homes and just blocks to a plethora of restaurants, museums, shops, the waterfront and the Sunday Market.”

- ELIZABETH, OCTOBER 2021

“This was a great AirBnB to stay in! The mansion itself was incredibly memorable, with beautiful artwork and décor throughout. As far as location, this was a perfect ~5 minute walk into downtown Astoria which had restaurants, a farmer's market, and plenty of shops to keep a group busy. Additionally, there is a park at the end of the block with swings and a play structure to keep kids occupied.”

“…Excellent hosts. Our accommodations and hospitality of owners exceeded expectations. We had a family gathering where we were looking for a relaxing and fun time together. We all felt so comfortable and accomplished our goals. We certainly plan to return. Thanks again....”

Elopement

The stars aligned for my fiancé and I when we found the Rose Briar Mansion to be available on the first weekend of September 2021. Trudy and DJ were thrilled and joyous when we ask to host our intimate wedding at their property. They helped us plan every step of the way, providing suggestions on vendors, sharing ideas on decor and setup and even offering us the use of decor and furnishings they already had on hand. They were always available and quick to answer every one of my questions (RE: amenities/decor, property layout, guest rooms, etc) and about anything else we were concerned with in planning a remote wedding (for 20 guests) in a 2 month timeframe. The property was more than I could have ever dreamed of for my wedding day. It was cozy, intimate, warm, inviting, beautifully restored and decorated, thanks to extravagant interior design and the detailed renovations done with such personal touches by Trudy and DJ. You could feel the history coming from every nook and cranny of the mansion, largely in part due to the amazing renovations that this couple so carefully undertook to bring this beautiful home back to life. I hope the joy and happiness that we felt on that day will forever remain a part of this home and will be stitched in to the fabric of its history.
